About the Conference

XVI International Science and Technology Conference entitled "Engineering geodesy for the development of the sustainable economy"

September 21-23, 2023, Poznań, Poland

We kindly invite you to the upcoming conference in the "Current Problems in Engineering Surveying" series, APGI, which will be organized for the sixteenth time!

This time it will take place in an altered organizational form — the new formula results from merging APGI and SCEGeo conferences organized alternately. We decided to join forces with the forum (we encourage you to visit last year's event website: https://scegeo.pwr.edu.pl), formerly gathering participants from non-geodetic faculties.

We plan to meet every two years in the new formula at the beginning of Autumn.

Unchanged remains the leading subject encompassing a broad spectrum of research and implementation of engineering surveying, especially in interdisciplinary terms. We would like to significantly expand the group of participants with specialists in related fields (such as geology, civil engineering or archaeology) and colleagues from outside the direct geodetic and cartographic discipline (for example, the protection of historical buildings and national heritage).

The organizers also aim to internationalize the event. In addition to guests from Poland, we count on participants from abroad! English will become the official language of the meeting, while the conference itself will be held in a hybrid mode (in person and online).

We count on your participation in the announced event and your active influence on defining its future, hopefully, more attractive form. For this purpose, we will post a survey on the conference website with several questions and specific suggestions for improvement.

Please disseminate information about the conference among your friends and colleagues! We cordially invite you to participate in this unique event!
